I joined the Valor family in 2023 as a preschool aide for Ms. Sharron Menn. Ms. Menn gives me the opportunity to teach the Bible and it’s my greatest pleasure.
I owned and operated Miss Terry’s Licensed Day Care for ten years. I have been a Sunday School teacher for twenty plus years. My husband and I have five children, twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. My daughter Amanda Buenger works for Valor as a preschool teacher. My granddaughter Hannah Buenger graduated from Valor in 2025 and my grandson Holdyn Buenger will graduate from Valor in 2026. I am currently serving as church clerk, on the baptismal team, work with the Lord’s pantry ministry to cook and deliver meals to the shut-ins in our community, and teach third through sixth grade Sunday school at First Baptist Church of Moody.

I hold an associate degree in teaching and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.I am currently enrolled in Teach Texas and will become a certified teacher in the fall of 2026.

I enjoy reading my Bible, hosting family dinners, baking and decorating cakes and cookies.
