Sarah Karr came to Valor in July 2022 to serve as Administrative Assistant to the Head of the Upper School. She graduated from Baylor in 1991 with her BSEd., specializing in Speech/Language Pathology. She served Falls County Special Education Co-op and Waco ISD as a Speech Therapist, then joined the Central Texas PBS station (KCTF) as Educational Outreach Specialist. Once her children were school age, Sarah taught 5th grade for 10 years at Texas Christian Academy in Waco, then became TCA’s Registrar/504 Coordinator/Dual Credit Supervisor until the school’s closure in 2017. She then “transplanted” to Eagle Christian Academy to continue the same administrative role for 5 years.

Sarah loves Valor Prep for several reasons: the commitment of the faculty, the overall demeanor of Valor students, and the culture of Godly excellence to name a few. She and her husband, Roy, have been married since 1992 and have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, two perfect grandkids, and Gus The Dog. Sarah enjoys cooking for a crowd as often as possible and loves to spend any given down time on or near pretty much any body of water. Her taste in music is all over the place, and her favorite Bible verse is Hosea 6:3.
