Kristi Phillips joined the Valor family in the spring of 2023 as a Logic School science teacher and transitioned to Rhetoric School chemistry in the fall of 2023. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Composite Science and from Texas Woman’s University with a Masters of Science in Biology. She has been married to Miles for over 35 years. They have been blessed with three daughters, one son, three sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and three grandsons. Kristi has enjoyed teaching in multiple school settings, including large and small public and private schools, including a year in Suriname, South America. She and Miles enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, swimming, hosting friends and family, cheering for the Baylor Bears, and getting to know new friends from all over the world. When she surrendered her heart to Jesus while in high school, she didn’t know the lovely adventure on which the Good Shepherd would lead her. The Lord is faithful and good.
