Kristen works at Valor as the Rhetoric School teacher's aide. She received her BA in Speech Communications from Baylor in 2000 and worked as a recruiter for a few years before moving to China with her husband Dave. They lived there for a total of seven years with a break in the middle when they lived in the Dallas area. Both of their daughters were born in Texas, and their youngest son was born in China.

She loves being outdoors and enjoying God's creation with her family and drinking a good cup of coffee. Kristen loves the blended community of teachers and parents at Valor that creates a unique educational experience for students and family.
