Mrs. Krista Weathers

Assistant Head of the Upper School

Krista Weathers began teaching at Valor in 2022 as an Upper School Latin and Humanities teacher, and then, in 2024, moved into an administrative position as the Assistant Head of Upper School. Krista graduated from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and from Templeton Honors College at Eastern University with a Master of Arts in Teaching Classical Education. Before coming to Valor, Krista taught Latin, logic, humanities, and composition at a number of other classical, Christian schools across the country, spanning from San Diego, CA to Washington, DC. Krista and her husband Adam, a Baylor grad and retired Marine, have been married for 19 years this summer and have two daughters. Longtime members of the Presbyterian Church of America, the Weathers have recently joined Redeemer Presbyterian Church. During their free time, Krista, Adam, and their girls enjoy their small family farm in China Spring, chasing chickens, riding horses, planting vegetables, reading books, or planning their next trip into "civilization" to visit the nearest Trader Joes.
