Kaia Rogers has felt called to be a teacher from the moment she stepped into the classroom as a kindergartener. Ever since then, she has loved learning, encouraging others, and witnessing those “aha” moments come to life both academically and spiritually. Recently, Kaia and her husband moved to Waco after firmly feeling the Lord calling them to help with a church plant through a church network in the area. It has been such a blessing to see a calling they felt years ago finally come to fruition.

For the past three years, Kaia has worked as a physical education teacher while also serving as a cheer coach and starting a dance team at her previous school. Encouraging, mentoring, and pouring into students through leadership, movement, and creativity has been one of the greatest joys of her life. While she has loved teaching in the gym, she is excited and ready to finally step foot into the classroom and continue impacting students in a new way.

Ministry has also played a huge role in Kaia’s life. She has been involved in children’s ministry for seven years and has served as a ministry leader for the past five years. She has also been involved in worship ministry for the past 10 years while serving in many other capacities within her church home throughout her entire life. Serving others, building relationships, and helping people grow in their faith are some of the things she is most passionate about.

Kaia has been married to her amazing husband, Colton Rogers, for almost four years, and together they are excited to begin this new adventure in Waco. She is also a proud sweet dog mom! Above all, Kaia loves the Lord, worship, ministry, and using the gifts and opportunities He has placed in her life to serve others and glorify Him.
