Chaney Franks is a kindergarten teacher at Valor. Chaney is from Oglesby, TX, where she was homeschooled until 8th grade, then later graduated from McGregor High School. She attended Tarleton State University, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Chaney also cheered for two years during her time there. Chaney is the assistant coach for Valor's high school cheer team. Prior to teaching at Valor, Chaney taught 2nd grade at Mary Martin Elementary in Weatherford, TX. This will be her third year in teaching.

In her spare time, Chaney enjoys spending time outdoors, long walks, crafting, and spending time with her husband, Bowie, and their darling dachshund, Olive!
