April Jones brings both teaching and administration experience to the Valor campus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Master of Education in Administration from Tarleton State. Mrs. Jones is certified as a teacher and principal by the Texas State Board for Educator Certification, and she also holds Elementary Principal certification through the Association of Christian Schools International.

During her tenure as a public school classroom teacher, Mrs. Jones was honored by her colleagues as the campus Teacher of the Year. Before joining Valor, she served as the Elementary Principal at a Christian school in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Jones is passionate about assisting teachers in implementing best practices in the classroom and supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Along with her sons, Owen and Eric, the Jones family is excited to be Valor Knights!
