J.W. Whitehorn teaches Humanities in the Rhetoric School. J.W. holds a BBA in Management from Baylor University and a MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. At Valor, he loves the missional atmosphere of discipleship. He strives to help equip the next generation to be a force for the kingdom of God through a distinctly Christian and classical education.

He has been married to Ellen Whitehorn since 2015, and they have 2 children named Esther and Joshua. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, the great outdoors, marksmanship/hunting, and sports/fitness.
