Dave has served in education for over 20 years at colleges in New York, Minnesota and California, and has been at Baylor University for 16 years. He holds a bachelor’s in mathematics, a master’s of science in education, and is currently ABD in the Higher Education Administration Ph.D. program at Texas A&M University. Dave has taught at both the secondary and higher education levels including courses in Elementary Algebra, College Algebra, Peer Mentoring, and various Leadership courses. An avid sports fan, Dave enjoys playing basketball and golf, and has been an active member of the community as a coach, Sunday school teacher, musician, and recently, a new thespian. The Kennedy’s have been a part of Valor for many years, with his wife of 29 years, Cindy, and children participating in Valor in many ways. His son, Eli, is a member of the Valor 2023 graduating class and his daughter, Ainsley (17) is a high school junior.
