Mrs. Edwards has been a Valor mom and co-teacher since 2015 and an aide to the Logic School since 2020. She graduated from Western Illinois University many moons ago with a B.A. and teacher certification in English. She previously taught high school English at Judah Christian School in Champaign, IL, where she also coached high school cross-country.

She has three children with Finley, her husband of 20 years, and she loves that she and her kids all get to go to Valor together. When she's not at Valor or homeschooling her kids she enjoys running, camping, coaching league cross-country, cooking thematic meals for her family and driving her kids to their 8,000 sports practices and theatre rehearsals. A little known fact about Emily is that she still has a baby tooth.
