Emeline Black serves as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School. She is especially inspired by Valor’s mission, particularly the call to love the beautiful. God’s creation and joys are all around us, and she is grateful to be part of a community that recognizes that beauty. She considers it a gift to support the people around her through her role in administration.

Originally from Rhode Island, Emeline moved to Texas in 2020 to attend Baylor University, where she graduated in 2024 with a degree in Corporate Communications. During her time at Baylor, she came to know the Lord, grew deeply in her faith, and met her husband, Braden. Emeline and Braden were married in June 2025 and love living in Waco, where Braden grew up. They adore their precious dog, Miss Maggie Mae.

Emeline is a creative at heart and enjoys decorating, crafting, and all kinds of art projects. In her free time, she also works as a wedding planner. When she is not working, you’ll definitely find her reading or needlepointing while watching a movie with Braden and Maggie Mae.
