Wendy Bastianon serves as the Classroom Support Specialist for Second Grade. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and a Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University. After retiring from elementary education following a rewarding 30-year teaching career, she continues to invest in students and learning through her work at Valor. She and her husband, Mario, moved to Waco in January 2024, and before joining her current role, Wendy served for one year as a substitute teacher in Valor’s Grammar School. She and her husband are proud parents of six children and grandparents to fifteen grandchildren living across six states.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys creating, searching for the perfect something to repurpose, and spending time visiting family.
