Mr. Paul Miller
Mr. Miller comes to Valor following 43 years of serving the children of Texas. He began as a teacher/coach at San Jacinto College-North in Houston, Texas, in 1979. Following a successful nine years as teacher and assistant baseball coach, which included three National Championships, he moved to Waco to coach and teach at McLennan Community College. Following a successful 12-year run at MCC, Mr. Miller retired from coaching to move into public school administration at McGregor ISD. He was an Assistant Principal at McGregor High School, followed by 15 years as principal at McGregor Jr. High School. He then moved to Central Administration at MISD, becoming an Assistant Superintendent for five years prior to his retirement. Feeling a need to continue giving back to children, Mr. Miller served as a substitute teacher at Valor during the Spring 2025 semester. He brings a wealth of experience to the position of College Counselor at Valor, where he seeks to ensure that all students are prepared to continue their education following their journey with Christ at Valor. He married his wife Kelly in 1991 and helped raise her two daughters, Stephanie and Lauren. Stephanie is a teacher at Valor and Lauren is a school nurse in McGregor ISD. His hobbies include golfing and spending valuable time with his four grandchildren.
