Chrissy Sessa teaches math and science in the Logic and Rhetoric Schools. She first came to Texas to study Biology and Great Texts in the University Scholars program at Baylor University. Though Waco is a little different from her hometown of Miami, FL, she loves her new home and the Christian community she has found at Valor. Chrissy is grateful for Valor’s Christ-centered mission and for the opportunity to marvel at God’s creation with her students as they study math and science together. When she’s not teaching, you may find her reading C. S. Lewis with her friends, doing (or teaching) ballet, laughing at science puns, or spending time with her nieces in Ft. Worth. Though she’s from South Florida, Chrissy loves visiting small towns! Her life was graced with the chance to see the World’s Largest Ball of Twine in KS a few years ago, and she has it on her bucket list to take the “European Tour of Texas” soon. She has a knack for the finer things in life.
