Mrs. Andrade is a 1st grade teacher and has taught at Valor since 2015 when she first moved to Texas. Her motto is: “1st grade is a fun grade!” She tries to make every day in 1st grade a fun day. So much learning and growing happen in 1st grade, and Mrs. Andrade enjoys partnering with parents in the education of each student. Valor is a unique learning environment where students get the very best of both worlds: a classroom environment and the experience homeschooling offers. Mrs. Andrade was educated in California and taught a variety of grades in several environments – public school, charter schools, and she homeschooled her daughters up to high school. Mrs. Andrade has been married for 33 years, has two daughters of whom she is immeasurably proud, and she has a cute puppy named Tug. She likes to do puzzles, play games with friends, cook and bake, and of course, play with Tug.
