Mrs. Groth teaches various classes in the Humanities Department of the Upper School. A life-long learner, she can usually be found with her nose in a book or with her eyes alight sharing the stories of people, both real and imagined. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in History and Classical Studies from Texas A&M University. She homeschooled her four sons, participating in co-ops and programs for homeschoolers around Central Texas, and hosted high school classes for homeschoolers in her home until joining the faculty at Valor in 2017. Mrs. Groth enjoys theater, both in the audience and on the stage.
