Mr. Justin Perry

Academic Director

Justin Perry is the Academic Director at Valor while also teaching various classes in the Rhetoric School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master of Arts in Christian School Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is completing a second Masters Degree in Theology with a concentration in Cross Cultural Ministry as well. He has 14 years of experience in education, four of which have been in school administration. Eight years were spent teaching and administrating in international Christian schools in Japan, mainland China, and Hong Kong. He and his wife have two children in the Grammar School at Valor. He loves working at Valor because he has the opportunity to open students’ hearts and minds to the veracity and reliability of the biblical worldview and how its truth permeates and unifies all disciplines of study. He also loves the opportunity to build educational systems and structures that bless all those within them and that foster excellent classical Christian education. Mr. Perry loves travel and culture, philosophy, reading, vocal ensembles, hiking, canyoning & coasteering (just ask!) when the opportunity arises, and exploring in general, whether in the wilderness or in an urban metropolis (bonus points for overseas destinations!). Two interesting facts about him are that he has lived in five different countries in the past 20 years and that he has performed at both Carnegie Hall in NYC and Walt Disney World in Florida as a member of his high school’s performance choir.
