Jared Nazarian has served as Valor’s Headmaster since 2016 and now serves as Valor’s Director of Operations and Admissions. He has been serving in education since 2007. After graduating from Baylor University with a Finance degree in 2007, he worked in the business world for a few years but then felt a strong call to education. He worked for 7 years at Cesar Chavez Middle School where he was named the Texas Region 12 Teacher of the Year in 2016. He is currently pursuing a MS in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. He joined the Valor team in the fall of 2016 and felt a strong connection to the vision and mission of Valor. He loves the community of Valor. He and his wife, Sarah, have 5 kids, 4 of whom attend Valor. He is grateful that teachers have partnered with his family by reinforcing the same Kingdom values at school that they are instilling at home. Jared loves to play basketball and golf as well as follow Baylor sports. He also loves nightly reading time with his children. Fun fact: Jared is ambidextrous!
