Charlie Mooney is the Upper School Head at Valor. Charlie has a BA in Mass Communication with a minor in Spanish Literature from Southern Arkansas University, a MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College (IL), and he is currently pursuing a MS in Educational Administration & Supervision through Southern Arkansas University. Before attending Wheaton College Graduate School, Charlie was also enrolled in the Masters of Divinity program at Moody Bible Institute. Since 2002, Charlie has taught in schools in Conway, AR, Chicago, IL, and Pyeongtaek, South Korea and has been a Christian school administrator since 2012. He has been married to April Mooney since 2000, and they have four children: Gavin, Addie, Cora, and Grayson. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, road cycling, and building various art and engineering projects with his kids.
