As an integral part of the Valor education, athletics provides countless opportunities for our students to enjoy the gift of sports and fitness, to build lasting relationships with one another through teamwork and perseverance, and to grow in courage, leadership, and humility as image bearers of God.
Grammar School and Logic School students attend Physical Education class one time per week. These classes are used to introduce students to the joys of moving their bodies through play, exercising regularly, competing in sports, and pursuing lifelong health and fitness.
Valor is a member of the Waco Private School League and students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades have the opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition with their peers from other private schools in town. Athletes will gain competitive sports skills and grow in team development through this community building league.
Seventh and eighth grade athletes can boost their degree of competition by participating in the local Junior High Level of sports. They will play other private schools in Waco in addition to teams from around Texas as a part of the TAIAO league. Athletes will continue to advance in sport skill development and fast-paced game play.
As a growing school, we are excited to offer our ninth, tenth and eleventh grade athletes the opportunity to compete in the local High School Level of sports in addition to the TAIAO league, which includes schools from the broader Texas region. Athletes will continue to develop confidence and tenacity as they build their sport specific skills and grow in their commitment to one another. Valor will be adding Volleyball and Basketball to the list of high school sport offerings beginning in the 2022-23 school year.
